Wer kann kommen?

ALLE Menschen können vorbei kommen. Egal, ob für ein paar Stunden, oder für eine längere Zeit. Es ist nicht wichtig, ob du schon Erfahrungen hast. Menschen in der Waldbesetzung können dir alles zeigen und erklären. Hier findest du, welcher Umgang uns miteinander und mit dem Wald besonders wichtig ist.

 Gedanken zur Gemenischaft

Unser Autonomieverständnis steht an zweiter Stelle, der Schutz des Waldes vor weiterer Belastung an erster. Wir wollen eine Gruppe sein, die gemeinschaftlich autonom ist und kein zerstreuter Haufen, in dem alle für sich selbst autonom sind. Das meint die Absprache und Übernahme von anfallender Repro- und Care-Arbeit*, sowie Gespräche über gewisse Standards und Bedürfnisse (z.B. Sicherheit, Hygiene, Waldschutz, Ordnung, Covid-19,…), und heißt nicht dass Menschen nicht autonom sein dürfen in Dingen, die nur sie selbst betreffen.

Für Menschen die uns besuchen, Anwohnende und Neuankommende wollen wir einladend, offen und ehrlich sein. Es ist okay keine Kapazitäten für ein Gespräch zu haben, aber dies sollte freundlich kommuniziert werden. Es ist uns wichtig, dass sich (neue) Menschen im Besch willkommen fühlen.

Die Besetzung soll ein schöner Ort bleiben. Deshalb hinterlassen die Besetzung und einzelne Strukturen nicht unordentlicher oder instabiler als wir sie vorgefunden haben. Wir geben uns Mühe Bauprojekte so zu bauen, dass sie längerfristig stabil und vor allem sicher sind! Wir wollen mit offenen Augen durch die Besetzung gehen und problematische Stellen (z.B. Schimmel, Nässe, Mäuse) verbessern. Wir lassen keinen Müll, Baumaterial oder Lebensmittel liegen und sammeln diese auch auf, wenn die Müll-Stellen nicht selbst verursacht worden sind. Wenn diese Müll-Stellen ein größeres Ausmaß annehmen, sollte die Aufgabe nicht an einer Person hängen bleiben, sondern im Plenum angesprochen und verteilt werden. 

Wir nutzen Spendengeld nur für kommunale Interessen wie z.B. Lebensmittel oder Seile. Spendengeld wird nicht für Drogen (auch kein Tabak oder Alkohol) genutzt.

* Repro-Arbeit steht für Reproduktion und meint alle Tätigkeiten, die zum Erhalt der Gemeinschaft und dem Bauen nötig sind wie etwa kochen, spülen, aufräumen, etc. Care-Arbeit heißt übersetzt sich kümmern und meint die Zeit, die man sich nimmt um für andere Menschen da zu sein.

 

Über das Leben im Wald

Hier ein paar Beispiele für Infrastruktur die es im Wald gibt:

  • Schlafplätze in unterschiedlichen Höhen, die zum Großteil ohne Kletterkentnisse erreichbar sind und in den meisten Fällen mit Matrazen bestückt sind
  • Es können Handys, Laptops und andere elektrische Geräte (bis 500 W) geladen und genutzt werden, denn wir haben eine Solaranlage
  • Wir haben WLAN im Wald
  • Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche und eine Spülstraße (für Geschirr)
  • Ein Kompost-Klo (zum sitzen)
  • Einen etwas ruhigeren Ort und einen Hauptbereich, wo sich die meisten Menschen aufhalten
  • Jede Menge Werkzeug und unterschiedlich viel Baumaterial

Hier ein paar Beispiele für Aufgaben, die es im Wald gibt:

  • Eine gute Zeit haben
  • Kochen
  • Spülen und Aufräumen
  • Baumaterial und Lebensmittel organisieren
  • Feuerholz sammeln und hacken
  • Anderen Menschen zuhören
  • Auf sich selber achten
  • Neue Menschen willkommen heißen und einbinden
  • Wissen teilen
  • Strukturen bauen (zum Beispiel Baumhäuser)
  • Lernen
  • Kontakt zu der Presse
  • Social Media Kanäle bespielen

–  Alle Aufgaben sind wichtig.
– Es sollen sich viele Menschen in der Waldbesetzung wohl fühlen, deswegen teilen wir Aufgaben auf.
– Alle können selber entscheiden, wie viel sie machen. Es  müssen nicht alle gleich viel machen.
– Pausen zu machen ist sehr wichtig.
– Mit den verschiedenen Aufgaben wechseln wir uns ab.
– Wir lernen voneinander und miteinander
– Es ist okay, Fehler zu machen

Who can come?

ALL people can come along. Whether for a few hours or for a longer period of time. It doesn’t matter whether you already have experience. People in the forest occupation can show and explain everything to you. Here you can find out how we treat each other and the forest.

Thoughts on community

Our understanding of autonomy comes second, the protection of the forest from further pollution first. We want to be a group that is collectively autonomous and not a scattered bunch in which everyone is autonomous for themselves. This means agreeing and taking on repro and care work*, as well as talking about certain standards and needs (e.g. safety, hygiene, forest protection, order, Covid-19,…), and does not mean that people are not allowed to be autonomous in things that concern only themselves.

For people who visit us, residents and newcomers, we want to be welcoming, open and honest. It is okay not to have capacity for a conversation, but this should be communicated in a friendly manner. It is important to us that (new) people feel welcome in the Besch.

The occupation should remain a nice place. That’s why we don’t leave the occupation and individual structures more disorganised or unstable than we found them. We endeavour to build construction projects in such a way that they are stable and, above all, safe in the long term! We want to go through the occupation with open eyes and improve problematic areas (e.g. mould, damp, mice). We do not leave any rubbish, building materials or food lying around and collect them even if the rubbish has not been caused by ourselves. If these rubbish patches take on a larger scale, the task should not be left to one person, but should be addressed and distributed in plenary.

We only use donation money for communal interests such as food or ropes. Donation money is not used for drugs (including tobacco or alcohol).

* Repro-labour stands for reproduction and means all activities that are necessary to maintain the community and building, such as cooking, washing up, tidying up, etc. Care labour means taking care of others and refers to the time you take to be there for other people.

About life in the forest

Here are a few examples of the infrastructure available in the forest:

– Sleeping places at different heights, most of which can be reached without climbing skills and in most cases are equipped with mattresses

– Mobile phones, laptops and other electrical devices (up to 500 W) can be charged and used, as we have a solar system

– We have WLAN in the forest

– There is a well-equipped kitchen and a dishwashing line (for crockery)

– A compost toilet (for sitting)

– A somewhat quieter area and a main area where most people spend time

– Lots of tools and varying amounts of building materials

Here are a few examples of tasks that exist in the forest:

– Having a good time

– Cooking

– Washing up and tidying up

– Organising building materials and food

– Collecting and chopping firewood

– Listening to other people

– Taking care of yourself

– Welcoming and integrating new people

– Sharing knowledge

– Building structures (for example tree houses)

– Learning

– Contact with the press

– Using social media channels

– All tasks are important.

– Many people should feel comfortable in the forest occupation, which is why we divide up tasks.

– Everyone can decide for themselves how much they want to do. Not everyone has to do the same amount.

– Taking breaks is very important.

– We take turns with the different tasks.

– We learn from each other and with each other
